Psalms 139:13-18. “For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them!”
I vividly remember the summer of 2007. The Morford’s were awaiting on the arrival of a new child. Every day that summer Cecelia and I prayed for her and for God to be with her and near to her through her life. That year I was a speaker at Disciple camp and i shared an ultrasound on the screen of Clare Grayce and how much I already loved her even though she was not with us yet and had no idea who I was. It was a great way to share God’s unconditional love for us. Not only did He love us before birth but he made us, fearfully and wonderfully. He had a plan for each of us. My love was strong but God’s love is pure and perfect and like Clare, God loves each of us. I felt like it was one of my best messages ever as I was able to truly speak from my heart. On October 23, Clare Grayce was born and my love for her has grown greater and greater. It does not even compare to the love God has for her.
